Liverpool transfer news: Reds make offer for Thorgan Hazard but former Chelsea man favours move to Borussia Dortmund
Liverpool have made an offer for Thorgan Hazard, the younger brother of Chelsea star Eden, according to reports.Hazard, 26, has been one of the Bundesliga’s best players since joining Borussia Monchengladbach, initially on loan, in 2014.1The attacking midfielder has scored 12 goals and chipped in with a further 11 assists in just 29 matches this season, and has been tipped to seal a move away from Gladbach this summer.A return to England has been mooted after Hazard spent three years on Chelsea’s books, joining the Blues the same summer as his elder brother. But it is Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Liverpool who are making the biggest push for Hazard, with Nieuwsblad reporting that the Reds have already made an offer for him.Their bid is said to be worth more than 36million (42million), as Liverpool are claimed to have offered more than Borussia Dortmund’s initial 42million bid.

Crystal Palace

Peter Simpson 165Simpson was prolific between 1929 and 1935 when he scored 165 league goals in 195 games.Wilfried Zaha is the Premier League record holder with 27 goals, in his two spells with the club, while Luka Milivojevic the clubs leader this season on seven.

Dixie Dean 349There is not anyone who comes close to Dixie Dean in terms of goals for Everton. His record of 349 in 399 league games, between 1925 and 1937, is astonishing.16In the Premier League, Romelu Lukaku holds the record with 68 while Richarlison is their leading scorer this season with 10.

Fulham

Gordon Davies 159Davies spent two spells at Fulham between 1978 and 1984 and 1986 and 1991 where he hit the net 159 times in 394 games.16Fulhams Premier League record holder is Clint Dempsey who scored 50 times during his time at the London club.Tom Cairney has the most of the current crop of players with 25, with all coming in the Championship, while Aleksandar Mitrovic is the leading scorer this season with 10.

Huddersfield

George Brown and Jimmy Glazzard 142The pair jointly hold the record for most league goals at Huddersfield with 142. Brown has the overall record with 159.Steve Mounie holds their Premier League record with eight goals while Mathias Jorgensen is leading this season with three.

Leicester City

Arthur Chandler 259Chandler played for the club between 1923 and 1935 where he found the net 259 times in 393 games.He also held the record for being Leicesters oldest goalscorer, at 39 and 34 days, until 2014 when a 40-year-old Kevin Phillips scored for the Foxes.Jamie Vardy is the clubs current topscorer with 90 and is leading the way this season with eight.16

Liverpool

Roger Hunt 245Ian Rush holds a lot of Liverpool goal records but finished his career with 229 in the league behind Roger Hunt on 245.Hunt played under Bill Shankly from 1958 to 1969 and scored his goals in 404 league games.16Robbie Fowler holds their Premier League record with 128 strikes during two spells.Mohamed Salah is quickly making his way up the Liverpool list with 49 to his name and has 17 already this season.

Manchester City

Sergio Aguero 160Aguero took the record from Eric Brook and Tommy Johnson with his hat-trick against Chelsea on Sunday.He was already Citys all-time record holder, with 222, and leads the way with 17 this campaign.16

Manchester United

Bobby Charlton 199The great Bobby Charlton holds Uniteds record league goals tally with 199 in 606 games from 1956 to 1973.Wayne Rooney is the clubs record scorer with 253, four ahead of Charlton, and scored 183 Premier League goals in Red.16From their current squad, Anthony Martial has the most league goals overall with 33 in 106 appearances while Paul Pogba is the highest scorer this season with 11.

Newcastle United

Jackie Milburn 178The Newcastle great made 353 league appearances and hit the net 177 times between 1943 and 1957.Their Premier League top scorer is Alan Shearer with 148 goals, who also holds the overall record with 260.Ayoze Perez has the most league goals from their current squad with 33 while Salomon Rondon is their top scorer this season with six.16

Southampton

Mick Channon 185Channon scored his goals for the club in two spells between 1967 and 1977 and 1979 and 1982.In the Premier League, Matt Le Tissier holds the Southampton record with 100 goals.Shane Long has the most in the current squad with 21 while Danny Ings leads the way this season with seven.16

Tottenham Hotspur

Jimmy Greaves 220During a nine year spell at the north London club from 1961 to 1970, Greaves hit 220 league goals in 321 games.Harry Kane has some way to go to reach Greaves record but he already has 122 Premier League goals and has 14 this season.16

Watford

Luther Blissett 148Blissett had three spells at Watford, 1975-1983, 1984-1988 and 1991-1993, and scored his 148 in 415 games.The Premier League record is held by Troy Deeney, on 33, while he also has 110 league goals overall for the club.Leading the way this season is Roberto Pereyra on six.16

West Ham

Vic Watson 298The Hammers signed Watson for 50 in 1920 and he went on to score 298 times in 462 league games from 1920 to 1935.Paolo Di Canio holds their Premier League record with 47 strikes while Mark Noble leads the way in the current squad with 46.Felipe Anderson is the top scorer this season with eight goals.16
