The womens team will be looking to improve on their impressive Euro 2017 campaign, where they reached the semi-finals.Phil Nevilles side have been in red-hot form this year, winning six of their last eight games.This comes as more good news to English football, with England also hosting the mens final and semi-finals of Euro 2020. A UEFA statement read: The English Football Association was announced as hosts by the UEFA Executive Committee, meeting in Nyon today.England previously staged UEFA Women’s EURO 2005, the last eight-team final tournament. The 2021 event will be the second to feature 16 [teams].The final tournament will be played in July 2021, with Wembley earmarked to host the final a year after the men’s UEFA EURO 2020 concludes at the same stadium.
