A deal is set to be struck for the midfielder to join for the remainder of the campaign and, with his Palace contract expiring, could earn himself a permanent move.Puncheon will replace Rajiv van la Parra who left for Middlesbrough on loan having not played since October.During the summer, Boro had themselves been linked with Puncheon, who had hoped to revive his career following eight months on the sideline with a knee injury. Puncheon suffered cruciate ligament damage in December 2017 and struggled to regain his place in the Palace team.David Wagner’s side sit bottom of the Premier League, having lost 14 of their 20 games so far and only winning twice.
