If you have cash to spare, it might be worth a risk to land Son. Okay, hes got some risk of rotation with Lucas Moura even likely to start against Southampton but the South Korean has proven in the past hes deadly from the bench too. He appears to be hitting form and its worth getting on this, especially as Spurs have a good run of Premier League fixtures up next.

Out: Jan Vertonghen (Tottenham Hotspur) 5.9m

Not only is the Belgian out for one game due to his north London derby red card, Spurs are currently looking a little leaky having conceded seven goals in four games. Its not the form you want from a pricey set of defender so even in the long-term its wise to drop him.

The two centre-backs are set for a busy festive season but bar games with Manchester City and Tottenham, the duo have a good set of fixtures until early February.
