Referee Peter Bankes cautioned Nolan for the tackle but was forced to take further action against the Tractor Boys’ manager, who lost his cool after some angry exchanges with some of Norwich’s backroom staff.A brawl broke out between both sides and Lambert had to be separated from the melee by a police officer. Lambert then received his marching orders, as did the Canaries’ head of performance Chris Domogalla.6

Norwich went on to win the game 3-0 as Onel Hernandez’s early strike and Teemu Pukki’s second-half brace extended the Canaries’ unbeaten run against their rivals to twelve games.The result means Farke’s men have regained their spot at the top of the Championship after promotion rivals Leeds and Sheffield United could only manage draws at the weekend.Ipswich remain bottom of the second tier and are nine points adrift of safety.
