Zaniolo’s breakthrough season has seen him establish himself at Roma and get capped by Italy

He joined Roma last summer in a deal that saw Radja Nainggolan head to Inter Milan in the other direction.A number of clubs have been interested in the Italy international with Real Madrid, Napoli, Manchester United and Juventus all being linked in the past.

The deal could perhaps hinge on his contract renewal at Roma, which is still not close to being done, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.Zaniolo reportedly wants around 2million a year to reflect his growing status at the Stadio Olimpico but the Serie A club are currently offering him 1.3million.If Spurs were to secure his services during the summer then the salary issues he is having with Roma should not be a problem.
