Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl could be in for a busy transfer deadline day.The Saints boss has done well since replacing Mark Hughes at St Mary’s but he’s still working on his squad.

Omar goodness
Southampton are reportedly in talks to sign Olympiacos right-back OmarElabdellaoui. The 36-cap Norway international would replace Cedric Soares, who joined Inter Milan earlier in the transfer window. He would also link up with compatriot Mohamed Elyounoussi, who has struggled at St Mary’s since his move from Basel last summer.Elabdellaoui would cost in the region of4.5million, according to The Sun.
Got to be Joakim
The reason for the interest in Elabdellaoui seem to have come about after the Saints failed to sign Joakim Maehle.Genk player Maehle was believed to be a 10million target, say the Daily Mail, but a move for the right-back now appears to have fallen through.Don’t look back in anger
One player possibly leaving the club could be Sam Gallagher.Alan Nixon of The Sun is reported both Swansea City and Nottingham Forest have made ‘surprise bids’ to loan the young striker.Southampton’s intention to sell Charlie Austin could be key to these moves though.Austin over
Speaking of the striker, The Sun believe Southampton have had four enquiries for their centre forward.Wolverhampton Wanderers, Crystal Palace and Cardiff City are thought to hold interest in the player, along with Championship side Aston Villa and Stoke City.Austin is said to favour a Premier League switch.
Che a given?
As Hasenhuttl looks to freshen up his attack, Birmingham forward Che Adams could be signed. The Mirror believe an 8million bid has been table for the player, who once gave Tottenham a League Cup scare as a teenager. It’s reported 12 clubs hold interest in the youngster and it’s not surprising given his 14 goals this season in the Championship.
See ya, Seager
One forward already out of the club is Ryan Seager. The 22-year-old made one Premier League appearance for the club but has now joined Yeovil Town on a free transfer after mutually terminating his contract at St Mary’s.
